Pimenton de la Vera from the La Vera valley in Spain. Upon ripening, this pepper is hand-picked, then dried for several days over the smoke from an oak fire in smoke houses next to the fields. Each pepper is turned by hand regularly. Gives a superb taste to sauces, soups, stews, egg dishes, vegetables and rice dishes.
