Needed for recipe: 1-16 oz. package fettuccini, Parmesan cheese, 1 Tbsp. olive oil, 4 cloves garlic finely chopped, 1 small onion finely chopped (1/4 cup), 2 cans (28 oz. each) whole Italian style tomatoes drained, 4 tsp. Fettuccini Spice Blend, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper.
Heat oil in a 3 quart saucepan on medium high heat. Cook garlic and onion in oil until tender. Place tomatoes in blender or food processor and process until smooth (or chop finely by hand). Stir tomatoes and spices into onion mixture. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes stirring occasionally. While sauce is simmering, cook fettuccini (or pasta of your choice) and drain. Add sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4.
