Marinade Mix in a 1.5oz cellophane package (Recipe included). This is a wonderful herb flavored marinade which can be used with vegetables such as artichokes, or baby carrots with onions.
Needed: 1-1; 1/2 lbs. mushrooms; 1/2 cup wine vinegar; 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 tbsp. dried parsley or 3 tbsp. fresh parsley, 1/2 tsp. salt (or more to taste) and 1/2 package Marinade Mix.
To prepare: wash and trim mushrooms, cutting in half or in quarters if large. Cook the mushrooms in a small amount of salt water for 4-5 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and place in a large jar or bowl with a lid. Add hot mushrooms directly to the marinade and shake gently to blend. Cool to room temperature, inverting occasionally. Store in the refrigerator overnight before serving. Will last for several weeks if refrigerated. Serve with toothpicks.
Ingredients: Onion, Garlic, Pepper, Thyme, Oregano, Basil, Chives and Marjoram.
